Valentin Haddad
Department of Economics and Booth School of Business, University of Chicago
Stevanovich Student Fellow 2011: Valentin received Lee Prizes in two of the three core fields in economics for best written examination. He has initiated a very important project and one that should evolve into a superb dissertation. His work develops and explores a model of financial intermediaries as monitors. His model is explicitly dynamic, and it aims to account for important fluctuations in the macroeconomic impact of financial intermediation over time.
Dr. Haddad completed his PhD in 2012.
