Peter Hansen

Peter Hansen is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University. His research spans several areas of financial economics, including corporate finance theory, asset pricing, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance. His past research has been featured in the Journal of Economic Theory and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Hansen received his Ph.D. in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2021. Prior to that, he studied at the University of Chicago where he completed a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.Sc. in Statistics.
