Dachuan Chen

Dachuan Chen has been an assistant professor of economics and statistics at the School of Economics, Singapore Management University (SMU) since July 2024. Dachuan received his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in May 2019. Dachuan was a visiting scholar at the Department of Statistics, University of Chicago (2015-2016) and the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics, Operations Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2023-2024). Dachuan received the Stevanovich Student Fellowship 2018 from the Stevanovich Center for Financial Mathematics, University of Chicago. Dachuan’s research papers have been published in top journals of statistics and econometrics, e.g., Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics.
